Why can't the damn thing just DEFAULT TO KNOWN WIFI points first than use cellular DATA if there are know known WIFI points? What the heck is the point of destinations and "prioritizing" wifi/cellular data if it keeps asking you?

It's this SIMPLE NOKIA "I'm at work I switch destination to "WORK" use either my work wifi access point or cellular data if wifi isn't available"... "I'm at HOME I switch destination to "HOME" use my wifi access point at HOME or use cellular data" to believe I gave you a chance bought an E72... I'm going back to my iPhone 3GS where it doesn't prompt me every 10 minutes when I want to check mail.

Not to mention the use interface is SO confusing... I want to browse whats on my SD Card... where's the file manager APP located?? IN THE OFFICE folder??? What kind of logic is that?

Why are there so many place you can check for software updates? Why not just ONE for all your software INCLUDING the phones firmware??

Nokia your hardware is great your software sucks... if you look at how much screen space is wasted in every application for example your "chat" application 1/4 of the screen is taken up just showing the IM services tabs Gtalk, Yahoo etc....

Are Destination Profiles Stick with "Modes" "Personal" and "Work" what the eck is the point of Modes if you have to manually change something as crucial as Destination? Why can't Applications like MAIL be sticky with the "Mode" and "Destination". I change the Mode to Work "Destination" should change to "Work" Mail should know to use the data connections in "WORK"

no wonder you're suing Apple

Forget the panorama shots… how about the fact that EVERY time you run an application that needs the internet it always asks you HEY WHAT DO YOU WANT TO USE? Magnetometer is the one thing which makes the phone complete GPS, guiding the directions, I would say something Revolutionary.... Better if you install Northpole.sis application you can simply use it as compass if you don't need to open maps.

I owed an E-72, ergonomically the Optical navigation key is OK, only problem is direction key which surround the optical key are acting as obstacles. Looks like it's the Palm Pre for me.It's a decent phone, and some of the features are okay, but that's about it. Nothing revolutionary here - now I know why I left the Nokia camp all those years ago. It's true, you can never go back home.

I bought an E72 yesterday, and having spent about five hours with it, am pretty much giving up on it.

As a previous Treo 600, 650 and 750, as well as a Motorola Q9h user, my main gripe is with the keypad – aside from its smallish size, it has absolutely none of the tactility and texture/feedback that both the Palm and Motorola have. My 6630 had it better but it was a lot bigger.Other than that it has been performing ok even with the first production firmware.I dislike the fact that I can't set the autolock period for longer than 20 minutes when using card and ram encryption. An FM transmitter would be great too as I like to listen to audiobooks on the car. Most of the other nags are due to software limitations, for instance, the lame default video playing ability. But you can compensate for that with other apps.http://nokiae72bugs.wordpress.com

I like the navi key, but it needs to be faster.
