Airport Touch Game

Airport Touch works on Symbian S60 5th Edition phones like the 5800 XM, N97 and 5530 devices. The aim of the game is to use the touch screen to draw landing routes for the planes to land on the runway without colliding with other planes. So you get to be the Air Traffic Controller on this. Did you know your Nokia 5800 CPU Clock Speed has Increased?

It looks like Nokia’s new firmware updates for the 5800 have brought about more than just bug fixes and performance upgrades. The 5800 initially had a CPU clock speed of 369 MHz. It looks like from v20 onwards, the phone has been running at 434 MHz. Overclocking?  It could be. The device now runs at around the same speed as the N97. Running Quake on the Nokia 5800

Here’s a video of Quake running on the Nokia 5800 taken from Valério Valério’s blog. Pretty cool stuff. If you’re interested in getting Quake running on your phone, here are the instructions to get that done.
