It looks like Nokia’s new firmware updates for the 5800 have brought about more than just bug fixes and performance upgrades. The 5800 initially had a CPU clock speed of 369 MHz. It looks like from v20 onwards, the phone has been running at 434 MHz. Overclocking?  It could be. The device now runs at around the same speed as the N97.
